Hands of Hope Uganda
Our History

Hands of Hope Uganda was founded in 2018 and officially registered as a non-profit organization in 2020. Recognizing the challenges faced by millions of women, children, youths, and the elderly in Uganda, the organization is committed to making a positive impact on their lives.

The focus areas of the organization include providing access to essential resources such as food, water, and healthcare, as well as promoting education and vocational training opportunities.
The organization acknowledges the importance of addressing the basic needs of individuals and communities to ensure their well-being.

By working towards sustainable solutions, Hands of Hope Uganda aims to empower vulnerable populations, enabling them to break the cycle of poverty and lead fulfilling lives.

VISION

We Envision a Self-Empowered Community

MISSION

To improve the quality of life for impoverished people with sustainable resources that are needed to feed families, educate children, improve health and become economically self-sufficient and reliant.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES:

  • Promote entrepreneurship engagements of communities
  • To empower adolescent girls and young mothers to engage in advocacy and good governance to establish favorable economic and health policies.
  • To increase agricultural productivity so as to enhance food security and incomes for rural women and youths.
  • To develop effective capacity building through skills and knowledge developments.
  • To enhance child protection through facility advanced childhood effects and civic education.

  • Iganga (Nakalama, Bulamanji, Municipality and Nawanyinji sub countries)
